Is Pax Autocratica free to play?

The paid Early Access game is not free. The separate Prologue was free, but its Steam listing now says it is no longer available.

Is Pax Autocratica multiplayer or co-op?

What is the difference between the Prologue and Early Access?

The Prologue is a limited standalone Sector One introduction. Early Access is the larger paid developing game; its content and balance should not be inferred from Prologue limits.

Can I turn Soldier Aging off?

Yes. AG-12 added a toggle that can be changed at any time and takes effect immediately.

Do melee kills drop ammo?

An official June update says melee kills always drop ammunition. Drop balance can still change, so do not infer an exact amount.

Does capture have bad-luck protection?

A July 22 pre-launch update added a pity system, but its current threshold has not been retested here. AG-14 adds three advanced Capture Rounds and short kill protection after a failed attempt.

What is the latest patch?

The latest maintenance directive checked here is AG-14, published August 15, 2026. No semantic version number was published.

Where is the official Pax Autocratica website?
